A HUGE thank you to our Parent Council for organising this year's Christmas Raffle raising an AMAZING £1178!! A massive thank you too for recently purchasing some very bright new hi-vis vests with the school logo on them for trips outwith the school and in addition, some fabulous Kapla blocks for STEM sessions! We are very grateful.

Car Treasure Hunt! TheParent Council held their first Car Treasure Hunt with lots of families and members of the community taking part. The event was lots of fun and managed to raise £145. A fantastic amount raised!

All funds raised benefit the children of the school, and without this valuable support we would not be able to do a lot of the activities throughout the year. A very big thank you to you all for everything you do throughout the year!

Easy Fundraising for Libberton Primary School

How would you like to help Libberton Primary School in an extremely easy way!

For every purchase you make over the internet - whether for clothes, holidays, insurance, phones, books, electricals, furniture, etc - you can get the retailer to share some of the profit they have earned from your transaction, with Libberton Primary School.

It does not cost you, the purchaser, anything - apart from two minutes the first time you use the website in order to register with them. Simply go to easyfundraising.org.uk, click on the red button labelled ‘register as a user’ and follow the instructions. Ensure you nominate Libberton Primary School, Biggar as your cause as there is a similarly named school with only one ‘b’ in it’s name!

Having done this, each time you make an internet purchase, instead of going direct to the retailer’s website, go to easyfundraising.org.uk, log in and then type the name of the retailer in the ‘search for retailers’ window. You will then be directed to the retailer’s usual home page and the rest of the transaction will occur in exactly the same way as normal - the difference is that the retailer passes on a percentage of the value of the sale to Libberton Primary School and you will receive an email telling you how much you have raised for the school with your spending trip. The list of retailers who have signed up for this deal is almost endless - it includes the obvious high street names as well as the obvious web-based retailers - so when you spend, raise money for a great cause and please ask your friends and relations to use the website too!"

We now have a Rag Bag container sited at the school. All profits will be used to benefit the children of Libberton Primary School.

Please use bin bags and donate any old ladies, men's and children’s clothing, curtains, paired shoes, soft toys, blankets, handbags, ties & belts, household textiles including towels and bed linen etc.

Please note that they cannot accept duvets, carpets, rugs or soiled/wet clothing.
