Car Treasure Hunt!
Our Parent Council are arranging a very fun event on Saturday 29th November to raise funds!  Please see flyer for more information!  

Our Parent Council Halloween Party on 24th October was a great success!  Huge thanks to Mandy, Sofia's mum, for all her help in getting everyone in the party mood and providing the music!  A total of £71 was raised for the evening and everyone had a fantastic time.  Some great photographs on the 'Gallery' page of the event. 

We are looking forward to our Christmas Raffle this year - if anyone has any prizes they can donate, please send these into the school office.  This has, in the past, been our greatest fundraiser and we hope this year will be a great success too.   
All funds raised benefit the children of the school, and without this valuable support we would not be able to do a lot of the activities throughout the year.  A very big thank you to you all.

Easy Fundraising for Libberton Primary School
 
How would you like to help Libberton Primary School in an extremely easy way!
 
For every purchase you make over the internet - whether for clothes, holidays, insurance, phones, books, electricals, furniture, etc - you can get the retailer to share some of the profit they have earned from your transaction, with Libberton Primary School.
 
It does not cost you, the purchaser, anything - apart from two minutes the first time you use the website in order to register with them.  Simply go to easyfundraising.org.uk, click on the red button labelled ‘register as a user’ and follow the instructions.  Ensure you nominate Libberton Primary School, Biggar as your cause as there is a similarly named school with only one ‘b’ in it’s name! 
 
Having done this, each time you make an internet purchase, instead of going direct to the retailer’s website, go to easyfundraising.org.uk, log in and then type the name of the retailer in the ‘search for retailers’ window.  You will then be directed to the retailer’s usual home page and the rest of the transaction will occur in exactly the same way as normal - the difference is that the retailer passes on a percentage of the value of the sale to Libberton Primary School and you will receive an email telling you how much you have raised for the school with your spending trip.  The list of retailers who have signed up for this deal is almost endless - it includes the obvious high street names as well as the obvious web-based retailers - so when you spend, raise money for a great cause and please ask your friends and relations to use the website too!"

We now have a Rag Bag container sited at the school.  All profits will be used to benefit the children of Libberton Primary School. 
 
Please use bin bags and donate any old ladies, men's and children’s clothing, curtains, paired shoes, soft toys, blankets, handbags, ties & belts, household textiles including towels  and bed linen etc. 
 
Please note that they cannot accept duvets, carpets, rugs or soiled/wet clothing.
